1. Introduction
Welcome to My Buddy Maid. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Nature of Service
My Buddy Maid acts strictly as a platform/marketplace that connects customers with independent domestic workers (maids, babysitters, caregivers, etc.).
- We do not employ any service provider directly
- All service providers are independent individuals
- We only facilitate connections and are not a service provider
3. No Guarantee Clause
- We do not guarantee job confirmation, availability, suitability, or compatibility of any service provider
- Hiring depends completely on mutual agreement between customer and service provider
4. Service Process
- After payment, customer receives contact details of service providers
- Final hiring, salary, duties, and working terms are decided directly between customer and service provider
- My Buddy Maid is not part of any employment agreement
5. Replacement Policy
- 1st contact shared after payment
- If not suitable → 2nd replacement
- If still not suitable → 3rd replacement
- Maximum 3 contacts will be provided per package
6. Refund Policy
Refund is applicable only after 60 days from service activation.
Conditions for refund eligibility:
- Customer has received all 3 contacts
- No agreement has been finalised
Refund processing time: 5–10 working days
Note: A platform fee of ₹500–₹1,000 is non-refundable. Remaining amount (if applicable) may be refunded after approval.
Non-Refundable Cases:
- Customer hires any maid (from our platform or outside)
- Customer is unresponsive or delays process
- Wrong or misleading requirements given
- Customer rejects all options without valid reason
7. Payment Terms
- Payments made are platform/service fees only
- Salary/payment to maid is handled directly by customer
- We are not responsible for salary disputes
8. Verification Disclaimer
- Basic KYC (Aadhaar, phone, address) may be collected
- We do not guarantee police verification unless explicitly stated
- Final verification responsibility lies with the customer
9. No Responsibility After Hiring
Once a service provider is hired, My Buddy Maid has no responsibility for: behaviour, performance, continuation of service, or any disputes.
10. Liability Limitation
My Buddy Maid shall not be held liable for: theft, misconduct, negligence, personal injury or damages, service quality issues, or any disputes between customer and service provider. Customers must do their own due diligence before hiring.
11. User Responsibilities
By using our service, you agree that you will provide accurate information, treat service providers respectfully, and not engage in illegal or unethical activities.
12. Cancellation Policy
- Once service provider contact is shared, service is considered initiated
- Cancellation before receiving contact is subject to approval
13. Fraud & Misuse
Any false complaints, fraud, or misuse of the platform may lead to immediate termination without refund.
14. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of the operating city courts. Parties agree to attempt mutual resolution first.
15. Modifications
My Buddy Maid reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
